Seistronix was founded in Silicon Valley in 1982, and has been manufacturing instrumentation for the geophysical industry for over 25 years. Seistronix moved to Folsom, California in 1989, and then to our current location in Rancho Cordova, California, a suburb of Sacramento, in 1991.

Our first product was a high-speed plotter that produced paper records for seismic crews. Our first seismograph, the DS-6, was introduced in 1994, followed closely by the RAS-24. All of our current seismic systems are based on the distributed approach to seismic instrumentation where individual seismographs can be connected together to create larger systems. To ensure signal integrity, all of our seismographs use  24-bit A/D converters for the widest dynamic range and sensitivity. With the recent introduction of the EX-12 seismograph, we now have instruments that address the whole range of seismic exploration.

EX-12 Seismograph

Seistronix introduces the EX-12 exploration seismograph. The EX-12 is a distributed system based on the technology used in the EX-6. With 12 channels per box, the EX-12 reduces the the number of boxes, cables and batteries by half. Read more here
